The Titanic!
The Titanic was supposed to be an amazing ship to be on, unsinkable and just so beautiful. I was having a great time aboard the ship until that dreaded day came along, April 15, 1912. Captin Smith was supposed to get us to New York saftley without any malfunctions. We just entered the Pacic Ocean and I thought we was moving along just fine, but i thought wrong. What Captin Smith did not tell us was that we had hit an ice berg. He had ignored multiple warning of ice bergs around our area, but yet he did not care. It was not even a hour later and the unsinkable ship started to sink! Everyone started panicing and trying to get around before the ship broke in half! Luckly I got on the fifth life boat to be put out. Yet I could not stop thinking about my father, brother and boyfriend left on the ship. My mother was sitting with me and we were praying for there survival. We sailed out on the life boats and it wasn't long before we meet a large ship. They took us aboard and took us to our destination, New York. It was atleast a week later once we got settled down and my father, brother, and boyfriend still have not shown up. They are either dead or they may possibly survived. I still have hope for that. I do not forgive Captin Smith for what he had done. It could have been prevented if he only had listened to the experts. I could still have my family all together with me if it wasnt for that man. I will never forget that dreaded day the unsinkable ship had sank.

pity or no pity..?
No, i dont think the nazi deserves pity. He was apart of killing the jews and wittnessed all of it. In the book it says "Then another truck came up full of more Jews and they to were crammed into the house with the others. Then the door was locked and a machine gun was posted opposite." The Nazi wittnessed all of this and he did not try to stop it or do anything about it. He knew how they were feeling: sad, hurt, dying inside, unwanted. He didnt care about them. Then their were familes that jumped out the window trying to get out of the burning house. This Nazi was the one that got to shoot those people that jumped out the windows. Even little kids. He said' I dont know how many familes tried to jump out the windows but that one family I shall never forget-least of all the child. It had black hair and dark eyes..." That child reminded him of Eli, but he still had to watch them suffer.
